Gears and Grapes Getaways, Inc. is an all-inclusive wine and bicycle tour operator. We transport San Francisco locals and visitors to wine country and set them up with sommelier guides, top notch bikes and off the beaten path boutique wineries where they have the opportunity to get behind the scenes. We handle everything to ensure an unforgettable, stress-free wine country experience. The bicycling is suitable for all levels of fitness and can be tailored to suit individual needs. A support vehicle is always present to help anyone who would rather be driven. Our hand-selected vineyards produce some of the highest quality wine in the area.

Our experienced tour guides are cyclists and sommeliers. They will be available to educate you on the wines you taste as well as the region. We are an environmentally conscious company dedicated to working in ways that promote sustainability by visiting sustainable wineries, hotels, and restaurants whenever possible and through encouraging the use of bicycles as a form of transportation and exercise. We love to get out there and create experiences for our guests. At gears and grapes we consider ourselves experience junkies.
